The 2026 Stony Mountain Run takes place in Stony Mountain, Manitoba, at 150 Sellers Hill Road. The event offers three distances:

2.5 km run/walk
5 km run
10 km run

Each distance is run on loops inside the Stony Mountain Quarry: one loop for the 2.5 km, two loops for the 5 km, and four loops for the 10 km. All finishers receive a Stony Mountain Run medal.

The event is part of several regional series, including the MRA Classic Run Series for the 2.5 km and 5 km, the MATR Run series, and the Interlake Run Series. The Interlake series includes the Duck & Run, the Stonewall Quarry Run, Islendingadagurinn at Gimli, and the Stony Mountain Run; completing all four events awards the full series medal.

The run also functions as a fundraiser for Stony Mountain trail and parks projects, with funds directed toward local trail projects.
