Trail Running calendar near Stony Mountain 2026-2027

A community fundraising run in Assiniboine Park supporting the Mamingwey Burn Society on April 25, 2026. Multiple distances including 10K and 5K with a free T shirt and medals for timed 5K and 10K.

A summer Thursday evening three race trail series at Birds Hill Provincial Park near Winnipeg, featuring 5 km, about 13 km and 8 km races across June to August. Series registration is required and bib transfers are allowed.

Old Tom Backyard is a Last Runner Standing race on a family farm near Blumenort, Manitoba. Day loops use singletrack and pasture trails while night loops run on gravel roads and the field is capped at 75 runners.

A *15k* trail race at Lester Beach MB that runs on beach, Trans-Canada Trail and Grand Beach ski trails. Registration opens April 12, 2026; refunds and deferrals are not allowed and bib transfers are limited to the registration period.

A vertical kilometer at SpringHill Winter Park on August 9, 2026. Runners repeat a 400 m loop of descent and climb to reach 1,000 m of vertical gain within a four hour time limit, with awards and free photos provided.

Official Backyard Ultra on a 6.7056 kilometer loop at Little Mountain Park in Winnipeg on August 15, 2026. Each loop must be finished within one hour and the last runner remaining wins.

Support local trail projects at the Stony Mountain Run featuring 2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km distances with finisher medals for all participants.
