Grand Sand 15k

Grand Sand 15k is a trail race scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2026. The route uses beach sections, the Trans-Canada Trail at Lester Beach, and cross-country ski trails in Grand Beach Provincial Park. The official course will be confirmed close to the event depending on water levels.

Participation is capped at 100 entrants. Registration is offered in defined periods from April to June and will close when the cap is reached or on the published closing date. Published fees include an early registration rate and a regular rate. Refunds and deferrals are not allowed; bib transfers to an unregistered participant are permitted only until registration closes.

Entry includes access to a 15 km route with start and finish on the beach, first aid support on site, a commemorative patch, and post-race snacks. Runners are responsible for their own safety and equipment on the trail. Volunteers will sweep the course for flagging but will not provide trail pickup for those who do not finish. The event will follow applicable public health orders related to COVID-19. The race takes place on Treaty 1 Territory, the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples and the homeland of the Metis Nation.
