Course and facilities

The course is a 1.54-mile scenic loop in Magnuson Park with views of Lake Washington and some wooded single-track sections. Surfaces include pavement, gravel and chip. The start and finish are by the swimming beach and free parking is available nearby. On-site facilities include washrooms, a solar-heated outdoor shower and a post-race swimming beach.

The aid station provides water, electrolytes, packaged food items, potatoes, simple sandwiches, nuts, fruits and vegetables, basic first aid and caffeinated drinks. Participants are encouraged to bring their own fluid bottle to reduce cup waste.
