Twilight at the Bay - Event
Twilight at the Bay takes place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Chambers Bay Loop Trail in University Place, WA (6320 Grandview Drive West, 98467). The event is USATF sanctioned and includes three distances:
- Half marathon - one unique longer loop plus three additional loops
- 10k - two loops
- 5k - one loop
Entry fees listed on the event page are $73 for the half marathon, $43 for the 10k, and $33 for the 5k.
Course and logistics
The course uses a wide, paved loop around Chambers Bay with a mixture of flat sections, inclines, and switchbacks. Each loop has about 220 feet of elevation gain. Runners follow the paved 5k loop; the chosen distance determines how many loops are run. Organizers have rented park facilities for the day. Parking is accessed from the road by the golf course entrance; signs direct vehicles toward water and the start/finish area. When the lower lot is full, additional parking is available near the play fields. An interactive map is provided for the half marathon first loop.
