Summer Eddy Trail Run
The Summer Eddy Trail Run is scheduled for July 21, 2026 at St. Edward State Park in Kenmore, WA. It is part of the 2026 Tuesday Night Trail to Grill series presented by Oiselle.
The park features mixed single track and wider trails along the Lake Washington shoreline. Trails include straighter stretches, winding sections with roots or rocks, and steeper segments in the southern and western areas where the terrain drops about 85 m to the water. Northern and eastern trails are known for swooping turns and flowy lines that are popular with mountain bikers.
The course uses a mix of wide approaches, twisting single track, and some road crossings. Runners return to the finish via wider trails and a promenade through the lawn near the historic seminary building. Four mile runners complete one loop; eight mile runners complete two loops.
Distances and elevation gain:
- 4 mile: 4.2 miles, 130 m climb
- 8 mile: 8.6 miles, 270 m climb
An aid station is located at the start and finish and serves as the midpoint for eight mile runners. It provides water, Skratch Labs electrolyte drink, and a selection of carbohydrate rich and salty foods such as cookies, gels, bars, chips, and fruit.
A Discover Pass is required to park in the state park. Trails remain open to other park users during the event. Dogs are not allowed on the course under USATF policy. Participants are responsible for their own safety and are asked to follow passing etiquette and keep headphone volume low so others can be heard.
