Summer Eddy Trail Run

The Summer Eddy Trail Run is part of the Tuesday Night Trail to Grill series and takes place on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at St. Edward State Park in Kenmore, Washington. The event uses the park's trail network near the historic seminary building and waterfront.

The route begins on a wider trail and moves onto swoopy, twisting single track with occasional roots and rocks. Runners cross a road and follow flowy bike trails and other single track before returning along wider trails and a lawn promenade near the seminary. Southern and western sections of the park have steeper terrain that descends roughly 85 m toward Lake Washington.

An aid station located at the start/finish area serves water, Skratch Labs electrolyte drink, and a variety of carbohydrate or salty snack options such as cookies, energy bars, gels, chips, bagels, and bananas. The 4-mile participants complete one loop while 8-mile participants complete two loops.

Practical notes include a Discover Pass requirement for park parking and abundant parking near the registration area. If park lots fill, an alternate northwest lot at Bastyr University is used with about a 0.4 mile walk to event headquarters. Youth runners under age 20 receive an online pre-registration discount for Northwest Trail Runs events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
