Springtide 50k

The Springtide 50 km is a single-loop trail race starting and finishing in Arundel, West Sussex. The route runs mostly on grass trails, farm tracks and forest paths through the South Downs National Park, passing Arundel Castle, Houghton Forest, Eartham Wood, Findon, Angmering Park and Wepham Woods before returning along the River Arun.

The course is fully way marked and largely runnable with around 3,000 ft of elevation gain. Terrain is listed as 99% trail and 1% road. There are four well stocked aid stations, chip timing and live GPS tracking. The event is a UTMB Index race and awards 2 ITRA points. Medical cover and event insurance are provided.

Entries are offered on a first come, first served basis with a waitlist once full. No qualification is required and the minimum age is 20. Entries close two weeks before the race or when entry limits are reached. The event has an 11 hour cutoff.

Refund and transfer rules are stated: a 50% refund is available up to 3 January 2026, with no refunds after that except for pregnancy. Deferral to the following year is possible up to two weeks before the race and transfers to another runner are permitted up to one week before the event. A charity off road trail run in Findon on 19 April 2026 offering 10 km, canicross, 5 mile and a 2 km kids race. The course climbs to Cissbury Ring then follows Monarchs Way to Nepcote Green and finishes at Wattle House.

Timed lap event at Buchan Country Park on 19 April 2026 with 5.3 km laps to create distances from 5 km up to ultra within a 7 hour limit. Runners may choose one of twelve medals or a lower cost no medal entry.
