The Springtide 50k is an ultra running event held in the historic town of Arundel, West Sussex. This single-loop course offers a runnable, non-technical route through the scenic South Downs, making it ideal for beginners and experienced runners alike. Participants enjoy stunning views of rolling hills, grass trails, farm tracks, and forest paths. The route starts near Arundel Castle, passes through Houghton Forest, Eartham Wood, Angmering Park, and Wepham Woods, before finishing along the River Arun back at the castle. With over 3,000 feet of elevation gain, the race is fully marked for easy navigation and is recognized as a UTMB Index race, awarding 2 ITRA points.
