Spring Creek Memorial Trail Run

The event takes place on July 18, 2026, in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The start and finish area is at the gazebo on Spring Creek Trail.

Two distances are offered:

  • 9.5 miles: This course is a scenic loop on primitive trail, two-track, single track, and briefly on a forest service road. It gains approximately 1,750 feet of elevation in the first 4 miles, with most of that climb between miles 2 and 4. The route includes unimproved, rocky, and narrow single track and passes over several large downed trees before descending on a smooth, rolling downhill trail.
  • 5K: This is an out-and-back course on rolling two-track and single track along Spring Creek.

Both routes follow the Spring Creek Trail, which features wildflowers, Aspen trees, and a bubbling creek. The event is held in memory of Patty Brenner Hagberg and serves as a reminder about sharing multi-purpose trails. A post-race meal is provided.
