Emerald Mountain Epic
Steamboat Springs, United States • 8-9 Aug 2026
Event overview
The Emerald Mountain Epic is a two-day mountain bike and trail running event held in Steamboat Springs. The event uses predominantly singletrack trails and dirt surfaces, with major elevation changes. Parts of the operation take place on public lands under a special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. Race fields have been limited in the past to 500 racers per day; there is no specific limit on individual categories within that field size. Proceeds benefit two local nonprofits: Partners For Youth and Routt County Riders.
