Starting at an elevation of 10,000 feet, the race features a course of approximately 6.8 miles (officially listed as 10k) with about 1,200 feet of elevation gain and loss. The route begins uphill on US Forest Service dirt roads and two-track trails, then descends on single-track and cross-country trails, offering breathtaking mountain scenery. An aid station is available midway for the 10k, while the 5k option covers 3.4 miles without aid.
