The Spooky Sprint Columbus is an annual Halloween-themed running event scheduled for a Sunday in October. The event takes place at Highland Banks Metro Park in Lewis Center, Ohio. Multiple race distances are offered in a single-day format.

Race Distances

Participants can choose from several events:

  • 1 Mile (untimed)
  • 5K

  • Virtual option to complete from any location

Features and Amenities

The event is chip-timed with live results. All registrations for the timed races and the 1 Mile include a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. Youth pricing is available for the 5K and 10K for participants aged 12 and under. Packet pickup is available on race day. An after-party includes a costume contest, trick-or-treat aid stations, photo opportunities, a live DJ, and complimentary food and drinks.

Awards

Age group awards are given for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon events, with categories for overall, masters (40+), and top three in standard age groups from 10 & under to 80+.
