Soulstice Mountain Trail Run

The Soulstice Mountain Trail Run is the 27th running of the Jackie Weintraub Memorial event, organized by volunteers from the Northern Arizona Trail Runners Association (NATRA). The event is scheduled for October 10, 2026 at Government Prairie in Kaibab National Forest near Parks, Arizona, with a possible move to October 11 if weather is severe.

Distances offered include:

  • 30K
  • 18K (about 11.2 miles)
  • 10K (about 6 miles)
  • Kids 1K

Registration opens December 31, 2025 at 6 PM. Early bird registration is priced at $70 through January 7, 2026; after that the fee for the 10K, 18K and 30K increases to $80. The Kids Dash fee is $10 and its registration closes on race day. Entrants may switch between distances through their RunSignUp profile at no charge. If registrations exceed the event permit limit of 200 runners by April 30, a lottery will be used; legacy runners registered before April 30 are guaranteed entry. Entrants can also guarantee entry before April 15 by donating Arizona charitable tax credits to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff.

The race is run by volunteers and donates 100 percent of proceeds to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff. For safety reasons, dogs are not allowed on the race course. NATRA also organizes regular group runs and offers a free lifetime membership with a newsletter. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
