The Smith Rock Classic is a spring trail running event held near Terrebonne, Oregon, at Skull Hollow, showcasing the stunning Smith Rock State Park and surrounding Crooked River Grasslands. It features three race distances: 50 miles, 50 kilometers, and 10 miles. The courses offer a mix of single-track trails and gravel roads, with significant elevation gains—7,500 ft for the 50-mile, 4,500 ft for the 50K, and 2,200 ft for the 10-mile race. Runners experience breathtaking views of basalt cliffs, the Cascade mountain range, and high desert terrain.
