Smith Rock Classic
Smith Rock Classic is a spring trail running event in Terrebonne, Oregon, based at Skull Hollow. Courses travel through Smith Rock State Park and into the Crooked River Grasslands, with views of basalt cliffs and the Cascade range. The event includes these distances:

- 50K
- 10 Mile
The 10 mile course starts at Skull Hollow and follows single track to the saddle below Gray Butte, reaching the Gray Butte aid station at mile 2.8. Runners circle Gray Butte, climb to its summit, then descend via road back to the saddle and return on the Cole Loop trail. The course has about 2,200 feet of gain and loss, roughly 50% single track and 50% dirt road, and one aid station.
The 50 mile race is two 25 mile loops that start and finish at Skull Hollow. The route passes Gray Butte aid station early, descends Burma Road to the river, follows Wolf Tree Trail to Smith Rock aid station, and returns via River Trail and Summit Trail back to Gray Butte. Loop one finishes via Cole Loop with a minimal aid station; the same loop is run a second time. The course totals about 7,500 feet of gain and loss, is roughly 80% single track and 20% gravel road, and includes eight full aid stations plus one minimal aid station.
The 50K begins and ends at Skull Hollow, reaches Gray Butte aid station around mile 2.7, descends to the river and climbs Misery Ridge, then returns to Smith Rock aid station near mile 11. After returning to Gray Butte at about mile 19.3 and looping through the grasslands, the course finishes via Cole Loop. The 50K has about 4,500 feet of gain and loss, roughly 80% single track and 20% gravel road, and four full aid stations.
The event policy states there are no transfers to other runners. Cancellations more than 30 days before the race may receive a 50 percent credit toward the same event the following year. Cancellations within 30 days receive no credit, refund, or transfer. If the organizer must cancel and cannot feasibly reschedule, refunds, credits, or rollovers will not be issued for reasons including epidemic, wildfire, air quality, natural disaster, or permitting agency closures.
