The 10 mile course starts and finishes at Skull Hollow, climbs to the top of Gray Butte, includes a Gray Butte aid station at about mile 2.8, and has about 2200 ft of gain and loss. The surface is roughly 50% single track and 50% dirt road, with one aid station.

The 50K starts and finishes at Skull Hollow, reaches Gray Butte aid station near 2.7 miles, descends Burma Road, follows Wolf Tree Trail, climbs Misery Ridge, passes Smith Rock aid station near mile 11, returns to Gray Butte aid station at about mile 19.3, and finishes via Cole Loop. The course has about 4500 ft of gain and loss, with roughly 80% single-track and 20% gravel, and four full aid stations.

The 50 mile race is two 25 mile loops from Skull Hollow, with Gray Butte and Smith Rock aid stations on each loop. The full distance includes about 7500 ft of gain and loss, about 80% single-track and 20% gravel road, eight full aid stations and one minimal aid station.
