The SMaRTT Smasher takes place on 15 February 2026 in Calne, Wiltshire. The main race is a flat, multi-terrain, traffic-free course following the national cycle network from Calne to Stanley, near Chippenham. The course is an out-and-back route and is described as well marshalled throughout. Race headquarters are at Marden House SN11 0JJ, with the start and finish close by. This event is Race 7 of the Wiltshire Off Road Race League.

Entries, timing and prizes

Places are strictly limited; the entry listings show up to 250 places for the 10k and up to 100 for the fun run. Standard entry fees are shown as £21 (affiliated) and £23 (unattached) for the 10k, with an early-bird discount available in late November. The fun run entry fee is £5. The 10k is chip timed. Prizes are listed for first, second and third in men’s and women’s categories, veteran age-group winners, and first male and female teams of three. All finishers receive a memento and all fun runners receive a medal. The Chris Kempson Cup is awarded to the school with the most athletes competing. Celebrate early with The Early Christmas Present, a timed loop along the peaceful Stroud Waterways canal where you can run from 5k up to ultra on flat towpath. Limited places, bespoke finisher memento and virtual entry available.

Take part in a regional ranking orienteering at West Woods near Marlborough with courses for beginners to experienced navigators through mature woodland. Entry is online only and full leg cover and a whistle are compulsory.
