Shotley 24 takes place Saturday 18th to Sunday 19th July 2026 at Shotley Village Hall, The Street, Shotley, Stutton, IP9 1LX. The event is organised by Coastal Trail Runners and has a minimum age of 18 on the event date. Entries open 21st September 2025 and close 21st June 2026.

The event is a 24 hour camping and trail running weekend with solo, pairs and team categories (teams up to six). The course is a fully marked coastal lap of 4.3 miles on the Shotley peninsula. Surfaces on the lap include farm track, forest path, country lanes, riverbank and tarmac footpath. Race headquarters provide camping and campervanning as part of the entry.

Entries, fees and services

Entry fees are listed per person: Solo £80, Pairs £75, Small team (3-4) £70, Large team (5-6) £65. A note indicates "£2 for affiliated" entrants. The organiser offers optional extras priced separately: sauna and plunge pool £15, bacon roll and coffee on Sunday £5, and massages (price to be confirmed). XCover insurance is offered as an option.

Included in the entry fee are overnight camping at race HQ, event parking and toilets, a bespoke medal for all competitors, chip timing, a Coastal Trail Runners vest for anyone completing one lap or more, a unique vest for solo runners completing 100+ miles, solo and team prizes, Core & More Pilates and Yoga sessions, and Challenge First Aid cover.
