Shotley 24

Shotley 24 is a 24 hour camping and trail running weekend held on Saturday 18 July to Sunday 19 July 2026 at Shotley Village Hall on the Shotley peninsula in Suffolk. The event is organised by Coastal Trail Runners and has a minimum age of 18.

The event uses a fully marked 4.3 mile coastal lap. The route includes farm track, forest path, country lanes, riverbank and tarmac footpath. Chip timing and first aid cover are provided.

Entry options are Solo, Pairs, Small team (3-4) and Large team (5-6). Entry fees per person are Solo £80, Pairs £75, Small team £70 and Large team £65, with an additional £2 for non attached. Race HQ offers overnight camping and campervanning included in the entry fee. Camping at the event is for competitors only. Event parking and toilets are available at race HQ.

Included for competitors are a Coastal Trail Runners vest for anyone completing one lap or more, a unique vest for solo runners completing 100+ miles, a bespoke medal, and solo and team prizes. The programme includes Pilates and yoga sessions, and optional extras such as sauna and plunge pool (£15), a bacon roll and coffee on Sunday (£5), and massages priced to be confirmed.

Entries open 21 September 2025 and close 21 June 2026. The event is licensed by the TRA and held under UK Athletics rules. An optional entry protection product is offered for refund eligibility in certain circumstances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
