Shotley 24 is a 24 hour camping and trail running weekend on the Shotley peninsula in Suffolk. It runs from Saturday 18th to Sunday 19th July 2026 and is based at Shotley Village Hall, The Street, Shotley, Stutton, IP9 1LX. The event uses a fully marked coastal trail lap of 4.3 miles that includes farm track, forest path, country lanes, riverbank and tarmac footpath. Competition options include solo entries, pairs and teams of up to six runners. The minimum age is 18 on the event date.

Format, services and fees

Entries open 21 September 2025 and close 21 June 2026. Entry fees per person are: solo £80, pairs £75, small team (3-4) £70, large team (5-6) £65, plus £2 for non-attached competitors. Included in the entry are overnight camping at race HQ, event parking, toilets, a Coastal Trail Runners vest for anyone completing one lap or more, a unique vest for solo runners completing 100+ miles, a bespoke medal, solo and team prizes, chip timing and Challenge First Aid cover. The weekend also offers Pilates and yoga sessions, and optional extras such as sauna and plunge pool (£15), bacon roll and coffee on Sunday (£5), and massages (price tbc).
