Shotley 24

Shotley 24 is a 24 hour camping and trail running weekend held at Shotley Village Hall, The Street, Shotley, Stutton, Suffolk. The event takes place from Saturday 18 July 2026 to Sunday 19 July 2026 and has a minimum age of 18 on the event date.

The event uses a fully marked coastal lap of 4.3 mile on the Shotley peninsula. The route passes farm track, forest path, country lanes, riverbank and tarmac footpath, providing a mix of surfaces from each lap. Race headquarters includes space for camping and campervanning; camping is included in the entry fee and is for runners only while supporters may attend during the day.

Entry options are available for solo runners, pairs and teams up to six. Per person entry fees are Solo £80, Pairs £75, Small team (3-4) £70 and Large team (5-6) £65, with an additional £2 for non attached entrants. The event offers chip timing, Challenge First Aid cover, event parking and toilets. Competitors who complete one lap or more receive a Coastal Trail Runners vest and all competitors receive a bespoke medal; solo runners completing 100+ miles receive a distinct vest. The programme also lists Pilates and yoga sessions, prizes for solo and team categories, and optional extras including sauna and plunge pool for £15 and a bacon roll with coffee for £5.
