Shortest Night Trail Run : June 19, 2026, Paradise PA
The event is a night trail relay held at 2 Forever Lane in Paradise, PA on June 19, 2026. Teams and solo runners aim to complete as many loops as possible within a race window of about 3 hours and 24 minutes.
The marked course totals 2 miles and is divided into two loops of 1 mile each. Pro teams run one loop of 1.5 miles and one loop of 1 mile. Each team is expected to use a baton for transitions. On each loop runners collect a glow ring from a bucket and return it to camp so loop totals can be tracked.
Participants are grouped into PRO and Amateur divisions at on-site registration. Event categories listed include three-person male, three-person co-ed, three-person female, solo, and an all-night dusk to dawn category. Amateur teams typically average a 9 to 12 minute mile pace on the trails; categories may be combined if needed. Organizers will add barriers and trail signs to reduce wrong turns.
Registration and final team details are handled on race night. Entry fees are stated as $20 per person for the Amateur race and $30 per person for the Pro race, payable in cash; entry fees are returned to categories as cash prizes. Campfire food and drinks are provided and a meadow area is available for overnight camping. Good headlamps are recommended. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
