Trail Blazer Run - East Bradford Township
The Trail Blazer Run will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at the CCWA Paradise Farm Camps property, 1300 Valley Creek Road, Downingtown, PA 19335. The event has been held at Paradise Farm Camps every year since 2013 and was established in 2012.
The event program includes three courses:
- 5 Mile Run
- 5K Run
- 1.5 Mile Family Fun Walk/Run
The 5-mile course is a trail route that passes through woodlands, open fields and meadows. The 5K was added in 2024 and follows a similar trail environment with a shorter distance. The 1.5-mile event accommodates families, children and walkers who prefer a shorter outdoor route.
Registration is available online on Run the Day and early online registrants can save five dollars on registration. Volunteers and local sponsors support the event each year. Historically the run draws over 300 participants, about 50 volunteers and multiple community sponsors.
One hundred percent of the event proceeds support East Bradford Township's public trail program. Funds are used for tools, equipment and materials for the volunteer corps that maintains more than 19 miles of trails across 24 properties totaling over 1,000 acres. Proceeds also assist planning and development of new trails including the East Branch Brandywine Trail extension and the Plum Run Trail at Plum Run Preserve.
