Goliathon - Obstacle Course Run, Mullica Hill, NJ
Goliathon is a non-profit, ninja-warrior style obstacle course run held at the Gloucester County Fairgrounds in Mullica Hill, NJ. The course is approximately 4 miles long and includes 12 tiered obstacles with three difficulty tiers: G1 (easy), G2 (difficult), and G3 (extreme). Proceeds support clean water projects.
The event uses a points system: successfully completing a G3 obstacle earns 5 points, a G2 earns 3 points, and a G1 earns 1 point. Only one attempt per obstacle counts, and obstacles must be completed within four hours from the time a participant leaves the starting corral to accrue points; participants who pass the four-hour mark may continue but will not earn further points. Successfully completing all G3 obstacles grants free entry to a future event.
Team entries and individual entries are both permitted. Teams can have as few as two participants and each team member may choose different obstacle tiers while moving through the course together. Teams with at least three females and three males are automatically entered in the team competition; final team scores total the top three females and top three males, and prizes are awarded to members of the top three teams. Individuals who register as such may not create or join a team later.
Participants must be at least 10 years old; those aged 10 to 14 must be accompanied by a registered adult for the entire course. On-course support includes 1 to 2 water stations and first aid stations. Event-day parking is available on site for a $10 per vehicle fee (cash only). Spectators follow a check-in process with a $15 fee and event-specific rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
