Wissahickon Trail Classic
The Wissahickon Trail Classic is a trail event held in Wissahickon Valley Park, established in 2006 and presented in its 17th year. The event brings together hundreds of trail runners from the region and includes a family-friendly nature walk. Funds raised benefit Friends of the Wissahickon; proceeds support stewardship of the Wissahickon trail system and watershed.
The event takes place on June 6, 2026, with start and finish at W. Northwestern Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19118. The 2026 race course will generally follow the same route used in 2025. Race and walk offerings include:
- 10K trail race
- 1 mile family nature walk on Forbidden Drive
Registration options and fees are listed for each entry type. For the 10K there is a registration that includes an annual Friends of the Wissahickon membership for $95 and a basic registration for $70. The family nature walk registration includes a family ticket for a guided hike and is priced at $50. Registration windows differ by entry type and are specified by the organizer.
