The Dash and Deciduous 5K Trail Run is a timed group event held at Crystal Lake Park in Bordentown, New Jersey. Organized as a "FATASS" style run, it offers a focused experience without the typical amenities of larger commercial races. The event follows a 5k course through wooded terrain and requires advance registration, as the field is limited to 40 participants.

The route includes approximately 300 feet of elevation gain and features technical elements such as exposed roots and steep sections. While the course provides some runnable stretches for experienced trail runners, it also contains significant hills and challenging downhill segments. For navigation, the path is marked and includes a water station located at the halfway point. Participants may also encounter hidden "Easter eggs" along the trail which can be exchanged for small prizes.

Awards are presented to the top male and female finishers, as well as winners in specific age categories. These categories include:

• 29 and Under
• 30 to 39
• Masters (40+)

The event is designed to be spectator-friendly, with several viewing points available at various mileage markers, including the 0.50, 0.80, and 2.1-mile points.
