The challenging course features diverse terrain including trails, grass, water crossings, and a covered bridge, with a water stop near the bridge. The event fosters a friendly atmosphere with awards for top male and female finishers and a prize raffle for participants. It is recognized as the oldest trail race in Central Pennsylvania.
