Smith's Challenge Trail Run, directed by the Lancaster Road Runners Club, is a historic trail running event held at Lancaster County Central Park in Pennsylvania. Celebrating its 36th anniversary in 2025, the race offers two distances: a 5-mile and a 10-mile trail run, with the 10-mile race consisting of two loops of the 5-mile course. The challenging course features diverse terrain including trails, grass, water crossings, and a covered bridge, with a water stop near the bridge. The event fosters a friendly atmosphere with awards for top male and female finishers and a prize raffle for participants. It is recognized as the oldest trail race in Central Pennsylvania.
