Smith's Challenge Trail Run

The Smith's Challenge Trail Run is an athletic event held at Lancaster County Central Park in Pennsylvania. The race takes place within the park's grounds, starting and finishing near Pavilion #2. The event utilizes a variety of natural terrains to create a diverse running environment for participants.

The course covers a distance of 5 miles and incorporates several distinct features of the landscape:

  • Single-track and wide woodland trails
  • Open grass areas
  • Multiple water crossings

The route is designed to provide a scenic tour through the park's natural features. Participants can register in advance or on the morning of the event at the park. Awards are presented to the overall fastest male and female finishers. Additionally, the event recognizes the fastest individuals across several age categories, including those under 20, 20-39, 40-59, and participants aged 60 and over.
