SHEastern States Weekend

SHEastern States Weekend is a women's running camp held from April 30 to May 3, 2026, at Ponderosa Lodge near Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. The camp includes guided trail runs on sections of the Eastern States 100 course over the four-day period.

The schedule includes optional and group runs covering a total distance of over 50 miles with approximately 9,100 feet of elevation gain. The runs are split over the days: an optional 5.5-mile night run on Thursday, a 13.7-mile run on Friday, a 20.4-mile run on Saturday, and a 10-mile run on Sunday (with a shorter 3.8-mile option). Aid stations are planned along the routes. Participants are divided into three paced groups ("Back," "Mid," "Front"), each with a lead and sweep runner for navigation.

The registration fee of $100 includes lodging at Ponderosa Lodge, meals, and transportation for the weekend. Space is limited to 30 participants. The lodge has 9 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a kitchen, and common areas; participants must bring their own bedding.

Required gear for the trail runs includes a pack or belt, hydration capacity of at least one liter, sufficient fuel and electrolytes, an extra layer for warmth, and a light source for the night run.
