Event Details

The SHEastern States Weekend is a women's trail running camp. It takes place from Thursday, April 30 to Sunday, May 3, 2026, in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. The camp is held at the Ponderosa Lodge, which features nine bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Running Schedule

The weekend involves running sections of the Eastern States 100 course. Participants will cover more than 50 miles of trails with over 9,100 feet of elevation gain across the camp. The daily runs are as follows:

  • An optional 5.5-mile night run on Thursday.
  • A 14-mile run on Friday.
  • A 20.5-mile run on Saturday.
  • A 10-mile run on Sunday (with a shorter 3.8-mile alternative).

Aid stations are planned along the routes. Runners will be divided into three paced groups (Back, Mid, Front), each with a leader and a sweeper to help with navigation.

Accommodation and Registration

The $100 registration fee includes lodging for the weekend, meals, and transportation to the trailheads. The event is limited to 30 participants. Participants are asked to bring their own bedding.

Required Gear

For safety on the trails, required gear includes a running pack or belt, hydration capacity of at least one liter, sufficient fuel and electrolytes, an extra layer of warmth, and an emergency blanket.
