Smith's Knob Scramble is an 8-mile trail race held in Montoursville, Pennsylvania, featuring a challenging course along the Loyalsock Trail that ascends the steep Smith's Knob. The event also offers a new 4.5-mile "Half Scramble" loop, designed for beginners or those preferring a shorter distance, which includes a mix of single track and logging roads but does not reach the Smith’s Knob vista. Limited to 200 participants due to parking constraints, the race encourages carpooling. Awards are given across various age groups and overall winners.
