Distances:

  • 8 mile trail race following the Loyalsock Trail over Smith's Knob.
  • 4.5 mile Half Scramble loop on single track and logging roads.

Awards will be given to overall male and female winners and to first place male and female in the 14 and under and 15-19 categories, then in 10 year age groups up to 60 and over. Due to limited parking, the field is capped at 200 participants and carpooling is encouraged.

Proceeds are split between the Hughesville Cross Country program and Think Big pediatric cancer fund. For the cross country program, organizers will donate a $500 Cross Country Award to fund scholarships for graduating senior runners, with $250 allocated to a senior male and $250 to a senior female.
