The Sewanee Slammer is a 20-mile trail race on October 18, 2025 in Sewanee, Tennessee. The course follows the Perimeter Trail around the University of the South and along the bluffs of the Cumberland Plateau. The route passes overlooks, geologic features, lakes and ponds, and upland deciduous forest. The race starts and finishes at the Mountain Goat Visitor Center in Sewanee Village. Parking is available at the Visitor Center and in grassy areas behind the Visitor Center. Three aid stations are located at miles 5.3, 10.5, and 14.06. Ten percent of race proceeds will be donated to the Perimeter Trail Fund.

Logistics and services

Registration fees are $75 through September 15 and $85 after September 15 (fees shown do not include taxes and processing). Registration closes October 15. Race shirts are guaranteed for participants who sign up by September 27; shirts are unisex cotton-blend lifestyle tees. Packet pickup is offered early on Friday at Shenanigans - Sewanee and on race day at the start/finish location. Event partners include HOKA, Feetures, and Huma; swag will be awarded to winners. There is a post-race gathering at Shenanigans - Sewanee where food and beverages will be available. During registration, participants may donate to Move!
