Snow Bull Endurance Runs

Snow Bull is an endurance event held at Camp Chet in Whitwell, Tennessee, on January 16, 2027. The camp covers nearly 1000 acres of private forest on Whitwell Mountain, part of the Cumberland Plateau. Terrain around the course includes dense forest, bluffs and rock formations, open spaces, wet weather creeks and waterfalls, and expansive views.

The main course is a 6.5 mile loop consisting of mixed single and double track, grass fields, and logging roads. Each loop includes 1500 ft of gain. The loop is largely runnable with some moderately technical sections. Trails include forest paths, old wagon roads, and former coal mining roads.

Practical notes: enter the 5050 Pocket Road address in a GPS for the correct location. Packet pick up is only available on race morning when participants check in to receive bibs, ankle monitors, and sign a waiver. Registration closes on Wednesday, January 13.

Finisher awards will be provided to all participants. Additional awards will be given for first place male and first place female in the half marathon, the 6 hour event, and the 12 hour event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
