SCOTT Sports Summer Cheviot Goat
Ingram, United Kingdom • 20 Jun 2026
Event
The SCOTT Sports Summer Cheviot Goat is scheduled for Saturday 20 June 2026 at Ingram Village Hall, Ingram, Northumberland, NE66 4LU. Organisers describe it as the summer version of the Winter Cheviot Goat. The event is a 50-mile (ish) ultra-run over a loop that crosses some of the largest hills in the border region, an area with a very low population density in England. Because of course variables, the final route may not be confirmed until a few days before the event.
The race is supported by an event team and every runner is provided with a GPS tracker for monitoring. Participants have up to 24 hours to reach the finish. The outright winner receives the Edwin Nelson Cup; there are prizes for top finishers and a t-shirt and medal for all finishers. Camping is available on the field next to event headquarters at a cost of £25 per tent or van.
