The SCOTT Sports Summer Cheviot Goat is a one-day ultra-run on Saturday 20 June 2026, organised by Cold Brew Events in partnership with SCOTT Sports. The race starts and finishes at Ingram Village Hall, Ingram, Northumberland, NE66 4LU (what3words: digits.bitter.throat). The course is a loop across the largest hills in the border region, an area with one of the lowest population counts per square mile in England. The final route may not be confirmed until a few days before the event. Runners are given a GPS tracker and have 24 hours to complete the course. The event includes prizes for top finishers, the Edwin Nelson Cup for the outright winner, and a t-shirt and medal for all finishers. Camping is available on the field next to event HQ for £25 per tent or van.
Entries, fees and rules
The organisers state that this is a hard race and require participants to have ultra-running experience and the ability to manage harsh mountain and hill conditions. Entries are not yet open and close on Sunday 14 June 2026. Minimum age is 18 on the event date. Entry fees (plus 6% booking fee) are:
- UKA member: £95 (rises to £125 from 31/01/2026 and £180 from 31/05/2026)
- Non-member: £97 (rises to £127 from 31/01/2026 and £182 from 31/05/2026)
