Event Details
SBT TRL is a trail run on the scenic single track trails of historic Howelsen Hill in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. It is held in conjunction with the SBT GRVL bike event. The event date is Saturday, June 27th, 2026.

- 5K
- 10K
Hikers are welcome on the 5K course.
Registration
Registration fees are $55 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K, and $20 for participants 17 and under for both races. Prices do not include RunSignup fees. Packet pickup is available on Friday, June 26th, with details to be announced, and on race day near the start or finish area. A t-shirt can be purchased for $20, with availability not guaranteed after June 20th. No refunds are offered; all proceeds benefit local non-profit organizations.
Course Information
The course is run entirely on trails and will be well marked. There is one main aid station at the top of the climb. Participants are recommended to carry their own hydration bottle or pack.
Awards and Post-Race
After the race, there is a post-race celebration and awards ceremony at Little Toots Park, approximately a 9-minute walk from the start. Prizes are awarded to the top three males and females, and to the top male and female masters over 50. Every participant is entered into a prize raffle.
Note: Pets are not allowed on the course due to narrow trails and the concurrent bike race. Pets at the finish must be leashed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
