The Christmas Jumper Jaunt

Saturn Running holds this event at The Last Hop, Unit 2, Thames Edge Court, Clarence Street, Staines, TW18 4SU. The format is a 7 hour Time Challenge held along a stretch of the River Thames. The course is fully signed and allows runners to complete as many laps as they wish within the time limit.

Distances and format include:

• 3 km minimum distance.
• Full lap about 7 km or 4.37 miles, may change to a 3.28 mile loop.
• Half marathon is 3 laps, marathon is 6 laps, ultra is 7 laps or more.
• 50 km distance available.

The course is approximately 60% on a well-made path or tarmac and 40% on grass and light trail that can become muddy. Road shoes are suitable year round; trail shoes may be preferred for extra grip. The regular course may be adjusted subject to health and safety review and land owner approval.

Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal. Distance pins are awarded for half-marathon, mega-half, marathon, 50 km and ultra distances and are attached to the medal ribbon. All finishers receive a goody bag, with a vegan option available. An aid table and drinks are provided at the start and finish of each lap and include savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items.

Toilets are available at the venue throughout the event but there are no separate showers or changing rooms. Bridge Street Car Park in Staines TW18 4TP provides parking. Number pick up is on the day at race registration. There is an unsecured bag drop area, headphones are allowed, and runners should be considerate of other public footpath users.
