The Nearly But Not Quite London Marathon - Wales is scheduled for 26 April 2026 at Dare Valley Country Park, Aberdare, CF44 7PS. The event is organised by Saturn Too Limited, a franchise partner of Saturn Running. It is run as a 7 hour Time Challenge that allows participants to choose their distance. The minimum recorded distance for a finisher is 3 km. Standard entry prices range from £18 to £35; a £22.00 entry price is available only to members.

A full lap is 4.37 miles (7 km) but may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. The course includes 3 km and 5 km turn points to meet UK Athletics age rules. Age restrictions apply to some distances.
Course, facilities and services
The route is on well maintained footpaths around Dare Valley Country Park. There are aid and drinks tables at the start/finish of each lap with drinks, snacks and vegan options. Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal; distance pins are given for half-marathon and longer distances. There is a goody bag option including a vegan goody bag. Venue facilities include toilets and a cafe; there are no separate changing rooms or showers. Free parking is available. A non-secure bag drop is provided.
