Spice Up Your Run - Wales is scheduled for 24 January 2026 at Dare Valley Country Park, Aberdare, CF44 7PS. The event is organised by Saturn Too Limited, a franchise partner of Saturn Running. The event includes a themed running event with optional fancy dress. Bone conducting headphones only are allowed. The organiser will provide race day instructions by email in the week before the event and number pick up is on the day at race registration.
Distances and format
The event is a 7 hour Time Challenge that allows participants to choose their distance. The minimum recorded distance for a finisher is 3km. A full lap is listed as 7km (4.37 miles) but may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. The lap includes 3km and 5km turn points to meet UK Athletics age rules.

Course, awards and support
The course follows well maintained footpaths around Dare Valley Country Park with countryside views. Finishers who complete at least 3km receive a Spice Girls themed medal. Distance pins are provided for half-marathon and longer distances and are attached to the medal ribbon. An aid table and drinks table are available at the start/finish of each lap with drinks and snacks, including vegan options.
Facilities and parking
Toilets are available at the venue; there are no separate changing rooms or showers. A cafe near race headquarters serves hot drinks and food. Free parking is available. A bag drop area will be provided but it is not secure. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
