Santa Run Wales is a festive fun run at Dare Valley Country Park in Aberdare (CF44 7PS) on 20 December 2025. The event is presented as a family-friendly, Christmas-themed run of 3 km on well maintained footpaths around the country park. The route offers views of the surrounding countryside and may be changed depending on the weather. Festive features include Christmas music, fancy dress prizes, mince pies, and themed medals.
Logistics and facilities
Every participant who completes the described distance will receive a themed medal and a goody bag. There is an aid and drinks table at the start/finish area that will include drinks, mince pies and small sweets. Toilets are available at the venue and a cafe serving hot drinks and food is located near race headquarters. There are no separate changing facilities or showers. Free parking is available at the venue. A bag drop is provided but it is not a secure area; valuables should not be left. Bone conducting headphones only are allowed. Final race instructions are sent by email about seven days before the event and race numbers are collected at on-site registration on the day.
