Sasquatch 4-Hour Repeat and Sasquatch 5K

The event takes place at Weymouth Woods Boyd Tract Loop in Southern Pines, North Carolina. The course is a well marked, maintained one mile loop that passes the Weymouth Center property and the oldest known living longleaf pine on site.

Participants may choose between a repeated one mile loop format and a three loop 5K option. The four hour format asks participants to complete as many one mile laps as possible within the time limit; laps are recorded by the race organizers. The 5K follows the same loop for three laps and has a one hour cutoff. 5K participants may continue with additional laps and opt into the four hour challenge during the event.

Both running and rucking categories are offered. The organizer will provide an aid station at the start/finish with water, Gatorade, and snacks. Participants may set up personal tents, tables, or aid stations in the park area near the start/finish. Parking is at the Weymouth Woods Center for the Humanities, 555 E Connecticut Ave, Southern Pines.

Packet pickup is available Friday evening October 16 from 6 to 7 PM at Pace Yourself Run Company, 205 NE Broad St, Downtown Southern Pines, and same day pickup is available at the start line from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Prizes are planned for top male and female in both run and ruck categories. Registered participants receive an official race t shirt and finishing medal; shirts cannot be guaranteed for registrations after October 12, 2026.
