Saratoga Stryders Fall Back 5 Mile Trail Race

The race takes place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Saratoga Spa State Park, 19 Roosevelt Drive, Saratoga Springs, NY. The event is a 5-mile trail run over the State Park’s Five Mile Trail. The course includes hills, ridges, single-track sections, some wider trails, paved segments, grassy areas, and a stair climb near SPAC. An approximate course map is available and the route includes crossing guard and course marshal stations.

Registration, awards and logistics

Online registration closes on October 30, 2025. In-person registration and early bib pickup are scheduled for Saturday, November 1 at iRun LOCAL (425 Broadway, Saratoga Springs). Day-of last-minute registration and bib pickup take place at the Roosevelt II Building in Saratoga Spa State Park. Registration is limited to 200 entries. Pre-registration is $30 plus an online processing fee; in-person and last-minute registration is $35 (cash or check only). No refunds will be issued.

Awards are given to first male and female overall and to the first male and female in each 10-year age group (0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+). Post-race door prize drawings are open to runners and volunteers; winners must be present to claim prizes. Runners may not run with dogs, and the use of portable music devices during the race is discouraged. Parking is available at the Administration/Park Office lot, the patron lot behind the Automobile Museum, and the Roosevelt Bath & Spa lot.
