Flutters and Foliage Endurance Race

Flutters and Foliage Endurance Race takes place in Cohoes, New York at 500 Delaware St. The event is in its fourth year and is presented as the only timed event of its kind in the greater Capital District of New York State. It is organized as a series of timed endurance formats held during the fall foliage season.

The event includes multiple timed formats: 6 hour solo, 6 hour relay with three or six person teams, 3 hour solo, and 1 hour solo. Participants who complete more than 26.2 miles in a solo event receive an ultra buckle. Every starter receives a finisher award, and participants are given a swag bag. Packet pick up is offered on the Friday before the event with details to be announced. Portable toilets are planned pending park ranger approval. Vendors are listed as attending for product demonstrations. Dogs are welcome, children are encouraged to attend, pacers may run if they are registered, and crew set up occurs on the morning of the event.

The race is organized by Flutters of Hope Inc, a nonprofit that supports individuals and families affected by eating disorders. A 5K trail run through the orchard at Indian Ladder Farms on May 10, 2026, with a hard cider mimosa provided after the finish and non alcoholic options; top 1st to 3rd place finishers aged 21 and over receive craft cider bottles.
