The Buck 50 is a 50K trail ultramarathon held on October 3, 2026, in Kattskill Bay on the shores of Lake George in the southern Adirondacks. The course starts and finishes at Camp Chingachgook on Pilot Knob Road and traverses remote, rugged trails that go over Buck Mountain, Sleeping Beauty, Black Mountain and the shoulder of Erebus Mountain. The route returns via Dacy Clearing Road and Shelving Rock and passes by Fishbrook Pond and Black Mountain Point.

The total climbing for the course is listed as 9,000 feet. Aid stations are positioned along the route at mile 6.6 (Dacy Clearing Road, no cutoff), mile 14.2 (Black Mountain Trail, 5 hour cutoff), mile 18.6 (Black Mountain Point, no cutoff), mile 25.3 (Dacy Clearing Road, 9.5 hour cutoff) and the finish at mile 32.5 (Camp Chingachgook, 12 hour cutoff).

Organizers require prior ultra-trail experience for participants, noting recent ultra finishes or strong performances at sub-ultra or non-trail races as relevant experience.
