Event

UltraTrax Gore Mountain is a timed trekking event held on July 19, 2026, at Gore Mountain in North Creek, New York. The event uses looped trail sections starting and finishing at the base area near 793 Peaceful Valley Road. Registrations include commemorative items such as a finisher shirt and patch; Level 3 and Level 4 finishers qualify for the UltraTrax Grey Wolf Medal. A portion of proceeds supports the Conservation Lands Foundation.

Course and logistics

The primary loop is 7 miles with an elevation gain of 1,785 ft. The route is mostly shaded and follows creek-side paths, rooty woods, ridgeline roads, and open ski-trail sections that offer Adirondack views. Trails are professionally timed and marked with signage, tape, and volunteers at key points. The event allows participants to carry added weight (ruck or weighted vest options) and offers bonus finisher items for weighted participants. All distances must be completed within 10 hours to earn official finish recognition. Bibs may be mailed or picked up the morning of the event; registrants after July 3, 2026 must pick up bibs in person. Complimentary onsite parking, post-trek food and refreshments, and a base-camp celebration are provided. Professional photos and course support are available.
