Gore Mountain UltraTrax

Gore Mountain UltraTrax is a single day endurance walk held in North Creek, NY on July 19, 2026. The event uses a repeated 7 mile loop that gains about 1,785 feet of elevation and runs from the wooded base up to ridge lines on Gore Mountain.

Participants choose how many loops to complete with four distance options:

  • 7 miles (one loop)
  • 14 miles (two loops)
  • 21 miles (three loops)
  • 28 miles (four loops)

The route is almost entirely shaded and follows creek side paths, rooty forest trails, and open ski trail sections with Adirondack valley and ridgeline views. The course is professionally timed, well marked with signage and volunteers at key intersections, and supported by aid stations placed roughly every 2.5 to 3 miles that provide water, electrolytes, snacks, and toilets.

Walkers, hikers, and ruckers may carry additional weight in a vest or pack; options listed include carrying 10, 20, or 35 pounds. Event materials include a commemorative patch and finisher shirt, with a Grey Wolf medal available for completing higher levels. Professional photography is provided and volunteers are available to assist participants on course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
