OakRunner Trail Run

OakRunner Trail Run is a mountain trail event on August 23, 2026 at Oak Mountain, 141 Novosel Way, Speculator, NY 12164. The event offers two course distances and takes place on wooded trails around the mountain.

Distances

5K : single lap
10K : two laps of the 5K course

The course uses uneven and rugged terrain with climbs, descents, and wooded sections. Scenic views are noted along portions of the route. Proper footwear and preparation are advised because this is a mountain trail course.

Age categories are specified for both distances. The 5K includes a Kids 14 and Under category. For both 5K and 10K there are Male and Female categories in age groups 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50+.

Registration opens May 13, 2026 and closes July 14, 2026. The published registration fee is $35. Registration and check-in take place at the Base Lodge. After the race there will be food, cold drinks, and music at the mountain.
