Wilcox Wild Ultra 50K
The Wilcox Wild Ultra is a 50K trail race held on September 6, 2026, in Stony Creek, New York. The course starts and finishes at Harrisburg Lake and follows a lollipop route through the Wilcox Lake Wild Forest within the Adirondack Park Wilderness.
The route runs from Harrisburg Lake to Hope Falls via the East Stony Creek Trail, then continues on the Murphy Trail to Willis Lake, out to Wilcox Lake, and returns to Harrisburg Lake. Terrain is mostly trail with minimal gravel and pavement. Total elevation gain and loss are listed as 3,028 feet.
There are multiple aid stations positioned along the course and many opportunities to filter water on trail sections. Organizers request that participants provide relevant prior experience; entries will be added from a wait list after review. Participants are expected to complete the course within approximately 10.5 hours. Bib pickup is scheduled the day before the race.
