San Mateo PAL's 5K & 10K Run/Walk and Wellness Fair takes place on May 30, 2026, at Coyote Point Recreation Area in San Mateo, CA (1701 Coyote Point Drive, 94401). The event is organized to support health and mental wellness and to provide information about community resources.

Activities and registration

The event includes adult and youth/student (under 21) categories for both the 5K and 10K. Registration opens February 10, 2026. Race registration includes a T-shirt and access to the Wellness Fair; separate registration for the fair is not required. Strollers and dogs are allowed, with consideration for other participants.

The Wellness Fair is free to attendees and features community, health and wellness vendors. Vendor options and fees listed include:

  • Non-profit with 10 x 10 tent: $50 (limited spots)
  • Non-profit providing own tent: $0 (registration ends May 29, 2026)
  • For-profit with 10 x 10 tent: $250 (limited spots)
  • For-profit providing own tent: $200 (limited spots)

Races at Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont include a half marathon, 10K and 5K along mixed dirt, paved and boardwalk trails by the bay. Courses have minimal climbing and provide marsh and shoreline views.

Trail running event at Almaden Quicksilver County Park offering distances from a kids run to a 50K. Longer courses enter Sierra Azul and include summits of Bald Mountain or Mt. Umunhum.
