Global Running Fest takes place on May 31 at Sports Basement Berkeley, 2727 Milvia Street, Berkeley, CA. The event is in person, open to all ages, and offers free parking. Festival activities run throughout the day.

Both runs are self-supported with no aid stations or course marshals on route. Participants are responsible for navigation, bringing water and fuel, and are encouraged to download routes to their devices before arrival because cell service is not guaranteed. All participants must complete an event waiver before running.

On-site features include free demo shoes with 18+ models from seven brands (HOKA, Saucony, New Balance, Nnormal, Altra, Keen, Adidas), access to race entries and local run clubs, local fitness and health professionals, a live DJ, food and beer, and all-day raffles. The raffle pool exceeds $10,000 and includes 15-plus pairs of shoes, race entries, apparel, training programs, and nutrition products.
