Dirt Circus - San Francisco

Dirt Circus is a free community event organized by UltraSignup that brings together local races, run clubs, brands, and running businesses in the San Francisco area. The one-day festival features a social group run, an on-site expo with brand booths, a pancake breakfast, food and beverages, and a raffle with prizes from partners.

Group runs are offered in two casual distances:

  • 3.2 miles
  • 4.5 miles

Activities at the site include shoe demos, brand tables, conversations with race directors, a face decorating and glitter station, and branded giveaways such as an UltraSignup "Shoe Bag Lite" while supplies last. The event is a cupless gathering, so attendees should plan to use their own bottles or cups. Dogs are not allowed except for service animals.

The local store partner is San Francisco Running Company in Mill Valley, which supports the event and hosts check-in and demo space. Parking on site is limited to 45 spaces and carpooling is encouraged. Two alternative parking areas are noted about a half mile away: Manzanita Park & Ride with roughly 50 spaces and the Alamonte Blvd and Miller Ave area with about 30 spaces.

Preorders for the city specific Dirt Circus T-shirt close on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
