San Juan Solstice 50 Mile Run

The San Juan Solstice 50 Mile Run is scheduled for June 20, 2026. The event uses a lottery entry system; the lottery resulted in 300 registered runners and 285 people on the waitlist.

Live tracking will be used again for this edition. Every runner is required to carry a tracker that has been registered with MAProgress for this race. The tracker may be the runner's own unit, a borrowed unit, or a unit rented from MAProgress or another company. Runners who use their own or borrowed trackers must know how to operate the device. Runners who rent a tracker from MAProgress will receive printed instructions with the tracker when they check in on Friday before the race.

Registration instructions will be sent to lottery winners and to those who move up from the waitlist. The event materials mention race rules, course information, alternate course details, and volunteer opportunities, and results and community information are maintained after the event. The presentation focuses on participant logistics and tracking requirements rather than start or finish times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
