Blisters & Brews 5k Race - Telluride Blues & Brews Festival

Blisters & Brews is a 5k fundraiser organized for the morning of Saturday, September 19. The event is presented by BootDoctors Paragon Outdoors and the Telluride Blues Society and raises money for the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program in remembrance of a festival friend.

The course begins and ends at Elks Park in downtown Telluride. The route follows the river trail, climbs toward Bridal Veil Falls, and returns to town on a gentle decline. The start and finish area and the route have been planned to highlight the central area of Telluride.

Post-race offerings include live music, free beer, and free yoga sessions. Race winners receive various gear and swag. Registration and donation options are available; fees listed for prior online and on-site registration reflect different price levels.

Bib pick-up and walk-up registration are scheduled the day before at the Box Office at Telluride Town Park. On the race morning, registration takes place at Elks Park. The event description notes past fundraising through registration fees, donations, and community support, and mentions cumulative contributions to the Telluride Adaptive Ski Program since the program started.

The presentation focuses on creating a safe, scenic way for festival attendees to exercise before festival activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
