The San Diego 50 & Trail Runs take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the San Pasqual Valley Staging Area (18192 Bandy Canyon Rd, Escondido, CA). Distances and events include:

The Trail Marathon and Summit Chase reach the high point of Raptor Ridge. The Valley 5M is described as roughly 5.4 miles. The Heavy Half covers a little over 13.1 miles. The relay splits the marathon into two 13.1-mile legs; there is no shuttle but easy pick up/drop off at the Piedras parking trailhead. The series is cupless; participants must bring a personal hydration vessel. The 50 Mile has a 14-hour cutoff and allows one pacer for the final seven miles starting at Raptor Ridge Aid Station #4.
Logistics and race services
Pre-race packet pick up is available at Milestone Running Store (North Park) from January 6–8; the store address is 2545 El Cajon Blvd UNIT D, San Diego, CA 92104. Registration deadlines: Stroller Trail 5K registration ends January 4, 2026; Elevated Youth 1 Miler registration ends January 9, 2026. The last day to register to guarantee a shirt and medal is January 1, 2026.
Aid stations provide water, electrolyte drinks, GU, Blocks, and snacks; 50 Mile aid stations add heavier items such as wraps, avocados, and fruit. Drop bags are permitted for the 50 Mile at designated locations and must be picked up at the finish. Port-a-toilets are provided at the start/finish and may be available on the trail. Finishers receive a tri-blend shirt and handcrafted wooden medal; 50 Mile finishers also receive a reusable silicone cup. Awards are given to top 1st–3rd male/female in listed distances; there are no awards for the Stroller 5K. Limited parking is noted at the race site.
