The Black Mtn Turkey Burner is scheduled for November 30, 2025, at Black Mountain Ranch Park / Black Mountain Community Park, 14700 Carmel Valley Rd, San Diego, CA 92129. The event is the ninth annual edition and is an ERS Championship qualifier. Due to park guidelines, the field is limited to 300 runners. All races start and finish at the Black Mountain Community Park.

The half marathon route includes significant hill climbing on very technical trails. The 10K and 5K use less technical, more groomed dirt trails but still include climbing. Terrain includes single track and dirt service roads. Reported elevation gain varies by race from about 672' up to 2,500'.

Main parking is at the community park and is limited. Secondary parking is available on neighborhood streets about 1/2 mile away off Black Mountain Road; carpooling is recommended. Packet pickup is listed at Fleet Feet San Diego and Omode Training House on dates before the event. Course routes exist for each distance.
