Windfall Full Moon Trail Run
The Windfall Full Moon Trail Run is a night trail event on private ranch trails in Alpine, California, scheduled for 08/28/26. The course uses reflective markers and reflectors and is accessible for event participants only. The organizer requires all participants to carry a headlamp or flashlight for safety.
Courses and distances are based on marked loops. Distances offered:
- 5k loop
- 10k loop
- 15k (run both 5k and 10k loops)
- 30k (complete the course twice)
Trails are mostly single track with ups, downs, and sections of technical footing that can be more difficult in low light. Aid stations along the route will be reflective and illuminated; they will be stocked with fluids, fruit, and snacks. After the event there will be water and sodas at the finish.
Camping is available on site in the ranch’s large open fields; porta-potties and water are provided. Dogs must be leashed at all times because ranch dogs roam freely. Tech T-shirts are included with registration and completion goodies will be handed out at the finish line. Division awards will be given in all distances.
