Noble Canyon 50K

Noble Canyon 50K & 15K Trail Races Race Day Details

The event takes place Saturday September 5, 2026 in Pine Valley, California at 8631 Pine Creek Road, Pine Valley, CA 91962. Two race distances are offered:

• 50 kilometer
• 15 kilometer

Both races have fixed time limits. The 50 kilometer race has a 9 hour 30 minute overall time limit with intermittent cutoff times at aid stations. The 15 kilometer race has a 3 hour cutoff. Pre-race briefings are mandatory for each distance. All participants must be at least 18 years of age. The 50 kilometer has an official start and an official end; no early starts are allowed.

Course and aid station procedures are specified. Drop bags will not be collected or distributed. Pacers are not allowed on the course. Spectators may be in the start and finish area only; crew access to aid stations is not permitted. Runners must check in at every aid station with the volunteer who holds the clipboard.

The course will be marked with orange surveyor ribbon, gypsum chalk, and possibly signs. Ribbons will be placed frequently, approximately every two to three minutes running time; if a runner goes more than five to seven minutes without seeing a ribbon they should turn back because a junction was likely missed.

There are restrooms or outhouses at the start and finish area, Noble Canyon Trail Head, and at the Penny Pine highway crossing. The course includes exposed sections where runners should carry adequate water. The first and last mile run along roadways with blind turns. There are two highway crossings; marshals will be present but will not stop traffic. If a runner withdraws they must notify an aid station captain and return their bib to be officially removed from the course. Littering results in disqualification.
