Nuclear Rush

Nuclear Rush is a series of muddy obstacle course races held on the Secret Nuclear Bunker Estate in Brentwood, Essex. Courses run across farmland, woodland and lakes and feature a mix of natural and man-made obstacles, water hazards and mud sections. Signature obstacles include the Deathslide, Travelator and para-plunge zip lines into water.

• 1.5 km - Rush Rookies (children)
• 3 km - Rush Rookies 3K / Rush Rookies Pro
• 4 km - Rush Family
• 6 km - Adult Rush (40+ obstacles)
• 12 km - Adult Rush (70+ obstacles)
• 38 km+ - Rush Oblivion Storm (lap format)

Events provide race-day facilities such as hot washdowns, changing areas, buoyancy aids for water obstacles and a free car park. Participants receive chip timing, a finishers medal, a free finishers photo and a free bag drop for most races. Young categories specify age limits and supervision requirements; for example, the 6 km race is open to ages 13+ with adult accompaniment required for 13–15 year olds, and the 12 km race is age 16+.

The Rush Oblivion Storm is an advanced, multi-lap distance that requires completion of multiple 12 km laps for the Oblivion medal; competitive Oblivion entries are subject to additional mandatory penalty obstacles and band rules.
