Trifarm 15k Spring Trail Run

Chelmsford, United Kingdom • 6 May 2026

Event Overview

The Trifarm 15k Spring Trail Run serves as the opening event for the 2026 seasons championship series. Located at Trifarm in Boreham, Chelmsford, this event features an extended 15 km route specifically designed for the spring edition. The course follows an anticlockwise direction, starting at the south bank of the lake and finishing on the running track near the road entry point.

The terrain consists of more than 95% off-road paths, utilizing public footpaths and bridleways. Because the event must conclude before sunset, it is restricted to runners and cannot accommodate a hiking option. Participation is open to individuals aged 18 and over.

Facilities and Logistics

On-site parking is available for participants. Registration takes place near the Trifarm buildings, where runners can collect their race numbers and bottled water. A water refill station is provided out on the course, with an additional refill tap located near the finish area along the farm track.

Participants have the option to purchase discounted swim tickets for a pre-run session, provided they have already completed a swim test with the venue. Catering services on-site offer items such as bacon rolls, cake, tea, and coffee before the start.

Competition and Timing

The race utilizes manual timing, requiring race numbers to be worn clearly on the front of the torso. A tail walker or jogger follows the course to ensure all participants are accounted for. This event is part of a league where points are awarded based on a MotoGP format, with bonus points available for breaking course records.
