Running with the Bulls - Musk Ox Farm, Palmer AK
Running with the Bulls is an annual fundraiser held at Musk Ox Farm on August 8, 2026. The event routes run through the farm pastures and along the perimeter of the farm’s 75-acre property, with views of the musk oxen and the surrounding Chugach and Talkeetna mountains. Participants receive a commemorative race t-shirt.

Course and facility details: The entire course is unpaved and follows mowed pastureland. Runners should expect uneven footing and hilly sections. Much of the route is not shaded. Water is not provided on the course; water will be available for filling bottles or hydration packs before and after the race. The course guides participants to areas of the property not usually open to the public.
Additional information: Bib pickup is available the day before and on the morning of the event. Light snacks will be provided. Parking is limited; carpooling is encouraged. Strollers are permitted; an all-terrain stroller is recommended. Participants must not stop to view or touch the musk oxen, and no petting is allowed. Restroom options include outdoor washrooms and indoor facilities. Virtual runners should register in advance to receive a shirt by race day.
